TradieCalc.au is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our website.

We do not collect, store, or process any personal financial data. All tax calculations run entirely in your browser. No salary, deduction, income, or personal information is ever sent to any server. The calculator is pure client-side JavaScript — nothing leaves your device.

What We Collect

Calculator data❌ None. All calculations are client-side (in your browser).
Page views✅ Anonymous. Standard analytics may be used to count visits and understand which pages are popular.
Cookies❌ This site does not set any cookies. Any cookies present are from third-party services only (see below).
Contact form⚠️ Only what you voluntarily provide when you email us (your email address and message).
Personal information❌ We never ask for your name, address, TFN, ABN, Medicare number, or bank details.

Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

  • Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, and security. Cloudflare may process limited request data (IP address, user agent) for security purposes. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdSense — Ad serving. Google may use cookies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Tailwind CSS CDN — For page styling. Does not collect any data.
  • jsPDF CDN — For PDF report generation. Runs entirely in your browser. No data is sent to any server.
AdSense and Cookies: Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

Data Security

Because we do not collect or store your financial data, there is nothing to secure from our end. Your calculations exist only in your browser session and are discarded when you close the page. If you download a PDF report, that file stays on your device — we have no access to it.

Your Rights

Under Australian privacy law (Privacy Act 1988), you have the right to:

  • Access any personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Opt out of any analytics or advertising tracking via your browser settings
